My teaching focuses on helping students become musically autonomous as early as possible. I work with piano as a living, practical instrument, especially for singers and musicians who want to: accompany themselves, understand harmony, and feel confident making musical decisions. Lessons emphasize listening, flow, and functional technique rather than rigid execution or rote repetition. Theory is introduced only as it becomes musically useful, and repertoire is chosen to support the student's voice, personality, and goals. My aim is not speed or perfection, but grounding: helping each student feel that the piano is theirs, and that music is something they can inhabit with confidence and pleasure.
